Terms & Conditions

These terms are the agreement between you and us for the use of SatyaBoard — the website, the app, and the browser extension. By creating an account or using the service you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the service.

Your account

You can try SatyaBoard without an account, and boards made that way stay in the browser you made them in. To sync your work you sign in with Google or with a code sent to your email address.

• Give accurate details when you sign up, and keep your email address up to date so sign-in codes reach you.
• Your account is for you. Keep access to your email and your sign-in secure, because anything done through your account is treated as done by you.
• You must be at least 16 years old, and old enough to enter a contract where you live.
• Tell us promptly if you think someone else has got in.

Your content

Your boards are yours. Everything you add — cards, notes, uploads, links, imported sources and the answers you keep — stays your content, and we claim no ownership of it.

To run the service we need your permission to handle it: you grant us a licence to store, copy, transmit and display your content, and to send the relevant parts of it to AI model providers when you ask Satya something. That licence exists only so the product can work for you, it is not exclusive, and it ends when you delete the content or your account.

You are responsible for what you put on your boards. Only add material you have the right to use, and respect the terms of the sites and services you import from.

Acceptable use

Do not use SatyaBoard to:

• break the law, or infringe anyone's rights;
• upload malware, or content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, or sexual content involving minors;
• impersonate someone else, or misrepresent where your content came from;
• attack, overload, probe or disrupt the service, or try to get around rate limits, credit limits or access controls;
• scrape the service, resell it, or run it on behalf of others as your own product;
• reverse-engineer the software, except where the law says you may;
• use output from the service to train a competing AI model or build a competing service.

AI output

Satya generates answers with AI, and AI gets things wrong. Output can be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date, even when it reads confidently. Check anything you intend to rely on.

Output is not professional advice — legal, medical, financial or otherwise. You decide how to use it and you are responsible for what you do with it. Because models generate from patterns, other users may receive similar output, so we cannot promise that anything generated is unique to you.

Third-party services

SatyaBoard connects to other services: AI model providers, ad platforms, video and web sources, and the accounts you link through integrations. Those services are run by other people under their own terms and privacy policies, and using them through SatyaBoard does not change that. We are not responsible for their content, their availability, or what they do with data you ask us to send them. If one of them changes or shuts down, the related feature may change or stop working.

Credits, plans and payment

Asking Satya something spends credits. Current plans, prices and credit allowances are shown on the pricing page, and what is left on your plan is shown in the app.

• Free credits are a one-time allowance. They do not refill.
• Paid plans renew automatically each billing period until you cancel, and credits reset at each renewal. Unused credits do not carry over.
• Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep your plan until the period you have already paid for ends, and your boards stay where they are.
• Payment is handled by our payment provider. We do not receive or store your full card details.
• Prices are exclusive of any taxes that apply to you unless stated otherwise, and we may change prices with reasonable notice before your next renewal.

Payments are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise, or where we decide otherwise in a particular case. If a payment fails or is reversed we may suspend paid features until it is settled.

Changes to the service

The product is under active development. We add, change and sometimes remove features, and we may set or adjust limits to keep the service running for everyone. For changes that materially reduce what you have paid for, we will give reasonable notice where we can.

Suspension and termination

You can stop using SatyaBoard whenever you like, and you can ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, that puts the service or other users at risk, or where we are required to by law — and where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why first.

When an account is closed, its boards and content may be deleted. Export anything you want to keep before you go.

Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties about it: we do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will produce any particular result. Nothing here excludes rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or decisions made on the basis of AI output. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to what you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Keep your own copies of work that matters. The export tools in the app are there for that.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. The revision date at the top of this page always shows the current version, and we will give notice of material changes. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
